How to operate a loop resistance tester

How to use the loop resistance tester

1. According to the four-wire measurement method, use a special test wire to connect the tested object to the panel of the instrument. Note that the voltage measurement wire should be connected to the inside of the current output wire.

2. Turn on the AC220V power supply (note: the third wire of the incoming power supply, that is, the protective ground must be connected to the ground), press the power switch, and the ammeter and resistance meter display "000" beat).

3. Press the measurement switch, adjust the current output knob (clockwise) until the current meter shows "100.0", then read the number on the resistance meter, which is the resistance value of the tested product, and record it. (If "1" is displayed, it means that the measured circuit is out of range).

4. After the test, turn the current output adjustment knob (counterclockwise) to the minimum, reset the measurement switch, and then cut off the power switch.

5. To repeat the test, simply reset the measurement switch, re-clamp the test clamp, and then press the measurement switch.

Precautions for using the loop resistance tester

1. Before turning on the power switch, the test button should be popped up (in the non-test state), and the current adjustment button should be adjusted counterclockwise to "zero position".

2. The instrument should be placed in a dry, ventilated room without corrosive gas.

3. After the test, be sure to wait for the power supply to be fully discharged before removing the test line and other devices.
