Fuyang Power Supply Bureau used a set of high-voltage testing equipment from Wuhan UHV Power Technology Co., Ltd. in the procurement of repair and testing equipment. Fuyang Power Supply Bureau is a national medium-sized second tier enterprise under Zhejiang Electric Power Company, with more than 1000 employees, 9 management departments, 2 special institutions, and 9 production units. To meet the new demand for electricity in the economic and social development of Fuyang, the Fuyang Power Supply Bureau takes the construction of a strong Fuyang power grid as its core task. As of mid November 2007, there was one 500 kV substation, three 220 kV substations, 18 110 kV substations, and 12 35 kV substations (including temporary substations) in Fuyang, with a total system substation capacity of 2.3714 million kVA (excluding 500 kV substations). In 2006, the power supply reached 3.8 billion kilowatt hours. The maximum load in the city exceeds 600000 kilowatts. In the procurement of repair and testing equipment in 2008, Wuhan UHV testing equipment was selected through bidding, and the stability, reliability, and practicality of this batch of equipment were highly satisfactory.
