Product Introduction

This device is primarily designed for AC voltage withstand tests of cross-linked cables, hydro generators, main transformers, busbars, GIS, etc. It has a wide range of applicability and is an ideal voltage withstand equipment for high-voltage testing departments at the local, municipal, and county levels, as well as for power installation and maintenance engineering units.

The device primarily consists of a variable frequency control power supply, excitation transformer, reactor, capacitive voltage divider, and compensation capacitor (optional).

Operating Principle Directly steps up the 50Hz mains voltage via a regulator to achieve the required test voltage. Adjusts the output frequency (typically 20–300Hz) to create series resonance between the reactor and the test object's capacitance, generating high voltage efficiently.
Weight & Portability Heavy and bulky, especially at high voltage and high capacity ratings. The combined weight of transformers and regulators makes on-site transport challenging. Significantly lighter. Resonance technology reduces the required power supply capacity to only 1/5–1/10 of conventional methods, greatly reducing overall equipment weight.
